…Dry stone wall construction has gone on for thousands of years, and on Sunday in St. Raphael’s another project that applied the craft was completed, the southwest section of the restored dry stone double retaining wall in front of the Bishop’s House built by about a dozen pros and first-timers.
Construction work on the veranda has started.

The Glengarry Fencibles Trust is hosting a Dry Stone Walling Workshop this weekend that is being presented by the Dry Stone Walling Association of Canada.
Heritage building, once slated for demolition, is well on its way to being restored.
Members of the Glengarry Fencibles Trust will be holding a special fundraising dinner this spring for the historic Bishop’s House. The event will be held at the Char-Lan banquet room, upstairs at the arena in Williamstown, on April 16th.
